Chef Robin Gill at Bresson
A Gourmet Evening with Robin Gill

We are delighted to welcome Robin Gill to Bresson on the evening of Thursday 4th October for a special gourmet dinner. The celebrated Irish chef, who owns a string of London eateries including The Dairy, Sorella and Counter Culture, will bring to Bresson a menu which is reminiscent of his time in Italy.

This will be the latest guest appearance in Dublin for Robin after recent events at Glovers Alley, Chapter One and The Airfield Estate.

On the night Robin will be joined in the kitchen by Paul (Paulie) McNerney (Junior’s,  Paulie’s Pizza, The Old Spot & Lotts & Co.). Best pals since infants, Robin followed in Paul’s footsteps from the tough kitchens of London to the rich and beautiful Amalfi Coast which has put an imprint into their cooking styles today. Back together again for a one-off dinner cooking the things they love from Italian culture not to mention some homemade Limoncello.

Robin and Paulie will present a six-course gourmet tour de force of Italian cuisine. Dishes on the evening include an Antipasti of Panzarotti, Agnolotti pasta, hand-dived scallops, roast rack of veal, a cheese course and the menu concludes with a fig panna cotta. Robin will be sourcing some of the produce from his own London restaurants.

Wines selected by Bresson’s sommelier, Kaie Hildrum, and Simon Tyrrell of Tindal Wines will be equal to the food with a promise of some show-stoppers. Guests have the option to choose wines by the glass matched to each course.

The evening is priced at 85 euros per person for the menu and the option of match wines by the course is at an additional 65 euros per person. Wines will also be available by the bottle or the glass on request for guests not wishing to partake in the matched wines option.
